Nicholas Louis Boss

Nicholas Louis Boss of Oak Lawn, age 48, passed away suddenly on May 18, 2026.

Nick was the beloved husband of Araceli Boss (nee Licea); loving father of Elizabeth Flores, Juan (Cindy) Flores, Erica (fiancé Ricardo) Boss, Alexa Boss, and Nicholas Boss Jr.; devoted grandfather of Mason, Vincent, Liam, Leia and Juan; cherished son of Sarah Dalie; dearest brother of Ryan (Ulises) Frausto, fond uncle of Ulises Jr, Christian and Nadia, beloved son-in-law of Lino and Irma Licea, brother-in-law of Julissa, Irma, Leticia, Catalina and the late Francisco and friend of many.

Nick was a dedicated employee of Metra for over 10 years and a lifelong Chicago Bears fan. He will be remembered for the love he had for his family, his generous heart, strong work ethic, and the countless memories he shared with those closest to him.

Visitation for Nick will be held Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by entombment at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery.
