Nicole Potvin

On July 11, 2026, at the Maison de soins palliatifs du Saguenay, Nicole Potvin passed away at the age of 81. She resided in Jonquière. She was the daughter of the late Gemma Harvey and the late Gérard Potvin.

The family will welcome relatives and friends on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 14:00 to 17:00 and 19:00 to 22:00; and on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 09:00 to 11:00 at Complexe funéraire Chicoutimi.

A celebration of her life will take place on July 17, 2026, at 11:00 in the chapel of the 5th Season, Complexe funéraire Chicoutimi. Attendees can participate in the live broadcast of the memorial service scheduled for July 17, 2026, at 11:00.

She leaves to mourn her life partner Rodrigue Morin, her children Daniel Riverin (Lynda Lavoie) and Caroline Riverin (Stéphane Marceau); her grandchildren Léon, Jonathan, Lindsay, Jessica, Miguelly and their spouses; her great-grandchildren Océane, Lia, Dylan, Mayson, Mila, Brianna, Rose, Annabelle, and Clémence; her stepchildren; her sisters Jeannot Potvin (Robert Boivin) and Édith (Michel Rouleau).

She also leaves her godchildren Isabelle Rivard, Sophie Rouleau, and Jean-Louis Harvey, the brothers and sisters of Mr. Rodrigue Morin, the family of the late Carol Riverin, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Acknowledgment is given to the staff at Maison de soins palliatifs du Saguenay for their excellent care. Donations can be made to the organization, and a volunteer will be present at the funeral home to accept donations.
