Noëlla Lejeune, née in 1955, passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 70. She lived in Malartic and is remembered by her family and friends. She was the daughter of the late Roger Lejeune and Margaret McDonell. Her family expressed their gratitude to the staff at the Val-d'Or Hospital for their care.
Her funeral service was held at the Coopérative funéraire de l'Abitibi de Malartic, with the inhumation taking place at the Val-d'Or cemetery at a later date. Many loved ones mourn her loss including her children, grandchildren, great-granddaughters, friends, and extended family.
Contributions in her memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society based in Montreal.
