Norma Alicia Pineda Hernandez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, at the age of 60. She was born on May 26, 1966, in Ocampo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, and made her home in Weslaco, Texas, where she built a life centered on family, love, and dedication.

Norma was a devoted wife to Daniel Angulo and a loving mother to her children: Francisco Javier Bernal and his wife, Deyanira Bernal; Mario Alberto Castro and his wife, Brenda Lee Castro; and Jessica Castro. She was a hardworking mother who dedicated her life to caring for and providing for her children, always making sure they had everything they needed. Through her strength, sacrifice, and unwavering determination, she taught her family the value of hard work, perseverance, and unconditional love.

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Francisco Guzman, Deyanira Perez, Julio Perez, Norma Lizbeth Bernal, Frances Juliette Bernal, and Izeyah Micheal Castro. Her grandchildren were among the greatest blessings of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. The love she shared with them will remain a lasting part of her legacy.

Norma found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved caring for her plants and flowers, taking pride in watching them grow and flourish under her care. She also had a special love for her dogs. Although they occasionally tested her patience and drove her crazy, they brought her companionship, laughter, and comfort, and she loved them deeply.

Norma is survived by her loving mother, Seferina Hernandez; her siblings, Jose Hernandez, Guadalupe Castillo, Barbarita Pineda Hernandez, Maria de La Luz Hernandez, and Lino Alberto Hernandez; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Norma will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, resilience, and endless devotion to her family. She was the foundation of her family, always putting the needs of others before her own and offering love, support, and encouragement whenever it was needed. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

While her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her love, strength, and the countless memories she created will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends. Her legacy is one of sacrifice, compassion, and unwavering love.

Norma Alicia Pineda Hernandez will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished. May she rest in eternal peace.
