Ola Mae Segars

Ola Mae Davis Segars, 96, of Decatur, Al, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026 in Louisville, Ky.

Ola was a devoted follower of Jesus who lived a life rooted in faith, kindness, and service to others. She dedicated 31 years of her career to EFP South, where her commitment and work ethic left a lasting impression.

Ola found joy in tending her garden, fishing, growing flowers, and taking long rides in the country. Above all, she treasured her role as a mother, grandmother, and friend. Her love, warmth, and beautiful spirit will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

She is survived by her children Sharon Allen (Gregory), Sandy Russell (Edward) and three grandsons, Lee Hartley (Monica), Graham Russell and Garrett Russell. Two great-grandsons Jacob Hartley and Jeremiah Hartley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hermon Segars, mother Clara Davis, father Robert Davis, eight brothers and sisters, and great-grandson Alexander Hartley.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 1:00pm at Peck Funeral Home, Hartselle, Alabama. Burial will follow at Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00am to 1:00pm. Fairdale – McDaniel Funeral Home was chosen to serve the family in Louisville.
