Above all else, Omar was a devoted and loving father. His greatest joy in life was his children, Evalett Anaid Jimenez and Noah Diego Jimenez. He saw the world through their eyes and took immense pride in the people they were becoming. His love for them was boundless, and they remained the center of his life.
A devout Catholic, Omar lived his faith through kindness, compassion, and service to others. He was a loyal son, brother, and friend who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Whether family, friends, neighbors, or coworkers needed support, they knew they could count on Omar.
Those who knew Omar will remember his infectious laughter and vibrant personality. He had a remarkable sense of humor and a gift for bringing joy to every gathering. He was always telling jokes, teasing those he loved, or pulling harmless pranks on the kids. His playful spirit and ability to make others laugh will be deeply missed.
Omar shared a special bond with his mother, Celia Jimenez Gonzalez. He cherished the time they spent together and remained devoted to her throughout his life. Family was at the heart of everything Omar did, and he treasured every opportunity to be with those he loved.
He is survived by his beloved children, Evalett Anaid Jimenez and Noah Diego Jimenez; his mother, Celia Gonzalez and father Jose de Jesus Jimenez; his sisters, Claudea America Jimenez and Miriam Pinon; and his many nieces and nephews, who adored him and proudly considered him their favorite uncle. He also leaves behind numerous relatives, friends, and loved ones whose lives were enriched by his generosity, humor, and friendship.
Omar's legacy is one of faith, love, laughter, and selflessness. He leaves behind countless memories that will continue to bring comfort and smiles to those who knew him. While his passing leaves an immeasurable void, his spirit will live on through his children, family, and the many lives he touched.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home, 1010 West Yakima Avenue, Yakima, Washington.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, 15 South 12th Avenue, Yakima, Washington.
Burial will follow from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery, 1405 South 24th Avenue, Yakima, Washington.
May Omar rest in God's eternal peace, and may his memory continue to be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
