The P. Pierre Francoeur is born on July 11, 1949, in Cowansville, Diocese of Saint-Hyacinthe. He passed away at Centre Champagneur, Joliette, on September 3, 2026, at the age of 77, after a life dedicated to religious service. He held degrees in German studies, theology, and spiritual theology, and worked extensively in pastoral youth work, spiritual accompaniment, preaching, and retreat ministry. He was also chaplain of the Order of Malta and responsible for the order of Vowed Virgins in Montreal. His funeral services were held at the Saint-Viateur Church in Outremont, with burial planned in Rigaud.
