Patricia A Borders

Patricia Ann Borders “Patsy” joined her beloved husband of 71 years Winfred D Borders “Winnie” on July 28, 2026, in Lou, KY.

She was born on June 22, 1936, in Warren Co. Patricia was a 1953 graduate of duPont Manual High School. She is survived by her sister, Norma; four children, Janet, Kathy, Winfred III “Bo”, & Laurel; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Patricia was a long-time member of both the Shively and Beechmont Woman’s Clubs. She was PTA president at both Mill Creek Elem and Butler HS. She was recognized with a “Life Membership” for her service at Mill Creek Elem. She was the first female HOA president at the Braden Castle Park in Florida. Patricia was a long-time member of both Ninth & O and Beechmont Baptist Churches, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She retired from JCPenney after 27 years.

Funeral service will be 10AM Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, KY 40218 with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 4623 Preston Hwy. Louisville, KY 40213.

Visitation will be 4-7PM Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven.

Patricia was devoted to her family and friends. She will be sorely missed.
