Patricia Louise Cranford, age 83, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026. She was born on August 12, 1942, in Nashville.
Patricia is preceded in death by her loving husband, Herbert Cranford, Jr.; her parents, John and Elizabeth Kimery; and her siblings, Barbara, Jean, Paul, Stanley, and Karen.
She is survived by her children, Cary (Melinda) Clary, Vickie C. (Monty) Spencer, and Donnie P. (Tonia) Cranford. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Crystal Ferguson, Chad (Courtney) Clary, Josh (Arabella) Ruby, Adam (Shelby) Cranford, Hunter (Julia) Cranford, Carmen Ruby, and Dillon (Aidan) Cranford; and her beloved great-grandchildren: Ty Ferguson, Kymree Ferguson, Casen Clary, Hadley Cranford, Cooper Cranford, Ella Cranford, Charlotte Clary, Barrett Cranford, Liam Cranford, and Huntley Ruby.
Patricia is also survived by her siblings Ronnie, John, Kathy, Mike, Susie, Debbie, Joe, and Anita, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Pat was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured her family above all else. She retired from Kroger after 47 dedicated years of service. She had a passion for cooking, gardening, flowers, sewing, the outdoors, and spending time near the water. For many years, she proudly earned blue ribbons at the Wilson County Fair for her award-winning pies. Pat was known for her independence, hardworking spirit, and love for Elvis Presley. She never slowed down and always found joy in caring for those she loved.
Visitation for Pat will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow, all at Hermitage Funeral Home.
