Patricia "Susie" Harris

Patricia “Susie” Harris, age 66, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026. Born on March 5, 1960, Susie lived a life defined by faith, love, service, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Shirley Kirby; her children, Kevin Harris (Chrissy) and Stacy Harris; her grandchildren, Gabreil O’Neal, Kaylee Mae Harris, and Benjamin Thrower; her sister-in-law, Myra Kirby, her niece, Cassidy Kirby; and many extended family members, church family, friends, former students, and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Jack Kirby, her brother, Chris Kirby, and Thomas Harris, with whom she shared many years of love, friendship, and family.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Coosa Valley Hospice for being the hands and feet of Christ during Susie’s final days.

Susie’s legacy of faith, love, laughter, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the lives she touched will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150, on June 6, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the funeral service in the Chapel at Radney-Smith Funeral Home at 11:00 am with Bro Mark Deason officiating. The burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
