Paul H Calvert

19 juillet 2026 Alma, Quebec Dignity Memorial

Paul Harvey Calvert, 75, of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, with Mary Ann Calvert, his loving wife of 23 years, by his side.

Paul was born on July 30, 1950, in Memphis, Tennessee. He devoted much of his life to serving his country as a colonel in the United States Air Force. A skilled pilot, he flew Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft during Operation Desert Storm. Before retiring from military service, he also served as a logistics commander in Iraq.

Paul was known above all as a man of strong principles, unwavering convictions, and deeply held Republican beliefs. Following his retirement, golf became an important part of his life and a wonderful way for him to remain socially active. He played regularly in the Ocala area, where he made many friendships.

Paul also loved to travel. Hawaii held a particularly special place in his heart, and he and Mary Ann made it a tradition to return every five years to celebrate their wedding anniversary.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Harvey Calvert, who passed away in 2005, and Minnie E. Calvert, who passed away in 1981; and his sister, Judith C. Warren, who passed away in 1998.

Paul is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Calvert; his son, Brad Calvert; and his stepson, Pedro Cesar Manrique.
