Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Pauline Thrasher will be at 2pm on Monday, June 8, 2026 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12pm until service time at the funeral home. Pauline passed away on June 5, 2026 at the Tishomingo Community Living Center. She was born on March 2, 1937 to the late Bill and Verdie Lawson.She married the late Marshall "WC" Thrasher and they raised a family. They were members of Cedar Mound Church. Pauline worked 18 years of her life at Dumas Furniture. After her retirement, she embraced her hobbies which were growing vegetables and flowers in her garden. Pauline also enjoyed cooking and listening to Gospel music. Her greatest joy came from the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Marshall "WC" Thrasher; brothers, Duel Lawson, David Lawson, Danny Lawson (Sheila), Jimmy Lawson; sister-in-law, Evelynn Lawson; brother-in-law, Paul Mills; and brother and sister-in-law, Junior and Mayzell Thrasher. Pauline is survived by her daughter, Tammy Stogner (Gary); son, Len Thrasher; grandchildren, Kevin Thrasher (Jeannie), Nikki Bailey (Bryan), Kaitlin Weaver (Cody), and Savannah Thrasher (Gavin); great grandchildren, Landon Thrasher, Khloe Bennett, Addie Bailey, and Brentley Weaver; sisters, Syble Studdard (James) and Shelia Patterson (Donny); brothers, Sonny Lawson, Robert Lawson (Renea), Jerry Lawson (Denae); sister-in-laws, Dorothy Mills and Shirley Lawson; special friend, Sherry Oxner; caregivers, Dee, Brooke and Melinda; and all her friends at Tinin Terrace.
