Peggy Priest Coleman

Peggy Ann Coleman age 68, passed away on May 8, 2026. She was born on February 3, 1958 in Hawaii to the late Mr. Howard Priest and Mrs. Rosy Streetman Priest.

Peggy was a devoted, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was marked by love, faith and dedication to family.

The world feels quieter without her laughter in it. Peggy was the safe place, the late-night phone call, the homemade meal after a hard day and the arms that held people together when life became heavy her presence brought comfort, wisdom and peace to those fortunate enough to know her.

As an artist, Peggy was able to show beauty where others often overlooked it through her painting and poems. She cherished her time as a hospice CNA she believed deeply in the importance of dying with dignity. Through her work, she offered compassion, not only to patients, but also to families walking through some of life‘s hardest days. She never viewed death as the end, but as the beginning of everlasting with the Lord, she loved so deeply.

Peggy was a devout Christian. She studied scripture and found joy in spiritual conversations that encouraged, challenged and comforted others.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Boyd Wayne Coleman; her children, Sandi (Chris) Scales, Wanda (Raymond) Simpson and Beth Cash; her siblings Ricki Priest and Kaylynn Schartle; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.

The family will have a celebration of life in a few weeks. Her memory will live on in every act of kindness, every comforting word, every shared meal and every quiet reminder that love and faith endure beyond this life.

She fought the good fight. She finished the race. She kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7.
