Rebecca Martin age 79 of Louisville, passed on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.Rebecca was born in Louisville on October 7, 1946 to the late Frank and Ida Orkies.Rebecca loved traveling, working with children and she was much loved by everyone who knew her.She is survived by her brother, Jimmy Orkies; sister-in-law, Barbara Orkies Hayden, 8 nieces and nephews; 9 great nephews; 5 great nieces and a host of great-great nephews and nieces.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, David Orkies, Danny Orkies, Jack Orkies, and her sister Kellee Orkies Strickland.Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 3pm till 8pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, (4895 N. Preston Hwy) with cremation to follow.
