Regina J. Holcomb

Regina J. Holcomb, age 81, of Crown Point, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026. She was born on August 19, 1944, in Hammond to Ernest and Helen Gentz.

Regina was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She shared 62 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Jesse Holcomb, of Crown Point, IN.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Cynthia Crowe and her husband, Robert Crowe, of Blaine, MN; Kevin Holcomb of Cambridge, MN; Shannon Holcomb of Crown Point, IN; and Shawn Holcomb of Cambridge, MN.

Regina also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Robert Crowe of Blaine, MN; Chad Crowe and his wife, Sadie Crowe, of Big Lake, MN; and Brooklyn (Holcomb) Hepworth of Crown Point, IN. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Chloe Crowe and Makayla Crowe, both of Blaine, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Helen Gentz; and by her brothers, Richard Gentz and Robert Gentz.

Regina found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved attending church, reading, swimming, and taking peaceful walks, but anyone who knew her knew just how much she loved ice cream and root beer floats. They were her favorite treats and something she enjoyed throughout her life, always bringing a smile to her face. She also loved chocolate and never turned down something sweet.

Regina will be remembered for her gentle spirit, caring heart, quiet strength, and the love and warmth she shared so freely with her family and friends.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
