Rena Nell Wilson

Rena Nell Wilson, 86, was born December 2, 1939, in Cumberland County, Kentucky, and passed away September 2, 2026, in Foley, Alabama. She was the daughter of Fred Melton and Mary Dyer Melton. A woman of faith, she was a member of Silver Lake Community Church, Leesburg. In 1997, Rena moved to Central Florida from Odenville, Alabama, and in 2024 she moved to Foley, Alabama. Through the years and across each place she called home, she carried herself with quiet dignity and a deep sense of responsibility—qualities reflected in her work, and devotion to those she loved. Rena was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Dallas and her son, Darrell H. Wilson. She is survived by her daughter, Donna W. (John) Legan of Foley, Alabama; her sister, Jeanetta McCool of Fairhope, Alabama; three grandchildren, Dillan Fields, Jordan Pierce, Kennedy Wilson-Talmadge; and two great-granddaughters, Kimberlie Fields and Whitney Pierce.
