Rene Cardenas Jr. passed on September 1, 2026, at the age of 49, and was a resident of Donna, Texas.
During his life, Rene was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved watching WWE. Additionally, Rene loved to ride his Harley-Davidson and spend time with his family and friends.
Rene is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle Gonzalez; father, Rene Cardenas, Sr.; brothers, Rick Cardenas & Ruben Cardenas; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Cardenas & Alexis Cardenas; nieces, Bianca Cardenas, Genesis Cardenas, Hayden Cardenas, and Scarlett Cardenas. Aunt, Bibi Ortiz; and Blanca Rea, as well as numerous additional relatives and friends.
Rene is preceded in death by his loving mother, Delila Cardenas.
A Memorial Service will be held at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559, on September 9, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Chapel Service at the same location on September 9, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
Interment will take place at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559, US, on September 9, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
