He was born in Rivière-du-Loup and lived in Lévis. He was a successful businessman in the fast-food industry, known for his determination and leadership. He was involved in charitable causes such as the Ronald McDonald houses and muscular dystrophy. Richard loved to help others and was greatly respected in his community.
