It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Richard Joe Jerome of Gesgapegiag, at the age of 29 years.
Predeceased by his mom Margaret Jerome and his grandfather Richard Jerome.
He leaves behind his partner Kierra Martin, son Jaylen Reid Jerome, step daughter Kaley, his dad Robert Burnsed, his guardians, Marie Anne Jerome and Clement Bernard. Brothers Nicholas Jerome and Trevor Bernard, sister Christianne Jerome Bernard, nephews Oliver, Nicholas and Jayden, niece Melody, and his grandma Maggie Jerome.
Also many other family members and friends.
The family will receive your condolences at 120 Main Street, Gesgapegiag on Monday, September 22, 2025 starting at 4 p.m. until Wednesday September, 24 at 1.30 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at the Kateria Tekawitha Mission Gesgapegiag, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 2 p.m. Burial to follow.
Professional services have been entrusted to the Henri Thibodeau Funeral Home Inc., a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the Corporation des Thanatologues du Québec and by the Bureau de Normalisation du Québec.
