Rilla Jane Bishop

Rilla Jane Bishop passed on June 10, 2026, at the age of 92. Born November 26, 1933, Rilla lived in Pinson, Alabama.Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jesse C. Bishop.She is survived by her children, James Bishop (Sherry); Deborah Wilder, and Wanda Pratt (Gary); grandchildren, Brooks McClendon, Brandon Roman (Jennifer); Adria Knight, Ashia Johnson (Jimmy), and Kim Cramer (Brian); and a number of great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her special friends Neisey and Sherrie Findley.Pallbearers will be provided by the American Legion Riders, Post 255 of Fultondale.Visitation will be held at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235, on June 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life at the same location on June 16, 2026, at 11:00 am.A Committal Service will take place at Alabama National Cemetery, in Montevallo, AL 35115, on June 16, 2026, from 1:15 pm to 1:45 pm.
