Robert Darrell Cole, Sr., 79, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Born on May 18, 1947, in Morgantown, West Virginia, Robert was the son of the late Coy O. Cole and Mary Frances Butcher Cole. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Sherrie Cole Morris, and his sister, Colleen Cole Kinney. Robert was a U.S. Army Veteran (SGT). Throughout his life, he worked as a long-haul truck driver and later served as a school crossing guard for Cumberland. He was a faithful member of Men's Fellowship and a devoted child of God. He was stubborn but loved his work.
