Robert Edward Willis Sr. passed on August 15, 2026.Born in Macon, Georgia, on March 9, 1940, Robert was the son of Francis Brown Willis and George Alfred Willis.He retired from Georgia Farm Bureau in 2003, where he served as Human Resources Director.Robert loved the outdoors, especially fishing and spending peaceful days putting around the lake. Above all, though, his greatest joy was his family—particularly his beloved wife, Jackie. They shared more than 64 devoted years together, building a life grounded in love, companionship, and unwavering care for one another. They were true partners in every sense of the word, and Robert remained deeply devoted to Jackie throughout their marriage.Robert was preceded in death by Jackie; his brothers, George A. Willis III and Thomas Eugene Willis; and other loved ones.He leaves behind his son, Robert Edward Willis Jr. (Cathy); his cherished grandchildren, Amber and Christian Willis, whom he adored deeply; his sister-in-law, Lynn Palermo; his daughter-in-law, Dawn Willis; and several beloved nieces and nephews.Robert’s greatest legacy will be the love he gave so generously to his family. His devotion to Jackie, his pride in his son and grandchildren, and the care he showed to those around him will remain treasured memories for all who knew and loved him.
