At the Institut universitaire de cardiologie et pneumologie de Québec (IUCPQ), on August 18, 2026, at the age of 70, passed away Mr. Robert Gagnon, son of the late Madame Pierrette Samson and the late Monsieur Marcel Gagnon. He resided in Québec.
According to his wishes, no funeral events are planned, but family and friends who wish are invited to pay tribute in their own way.
He leaves behind the love of his life: Lilianne Guay (and her son: Alexandre Belleau); his brothers and sisters of the Gagnon and Plamondon families: Nicole (Jacques Fournier), the late Serge (Teddie Aguirre), Gaétan (Linda Gosselin), Mario, Sylvie (Richard Beauregard), Gina (Jocelyn Fiset), the late Yvon (the late Danielle St-Amand), Gertrude (the late Hilaire Robitaille), Huguette (Réjean Carrier), the late Lise (Michel Robitaille); several nieces, nephews, and many friends including his companions from the Îles-de-la-Madeleine he cherished.
The family wishes to thank his nephew Alain Carrier for his devotion and helpfulness, as well as Michel Landry for fulfilling Robert's last wish.
A special thanks to all the staff of the IUCPQ for their good care and moral support.
