Robert Hill

Robert "Bob" Allan Hill, 67, of Amarillo, passed from this world on August 21, 2026.

Bob was born December 7, 1958, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Homer and Louise Hill. Bob attended Amarillo High School and proudly joined the United States Army in 1976. He served his country for six and a half years and was honorably discharged in 1983. After his military service, Bob worked for 12 years at the Amarillo Globe-News, where he met the love of his life, Kelley Daniels. The two were married on August 12, 1988, and shared many wonderful years together. Bob was a hardworking man who was always using his hands and starting a new project. He enjoyed cooking and, most of all, spending time with his family. His love, humor, hard work, and devotion to those around him will be deeply missed.

Bob is survived by his wife, Kelley Hill; his children, Louise Hill and Debbie Hill of Amarillo, Bobby Hill of Colorado, Allison Hill of Amarillo, and Sera Bargas and her husband, Steve, of Amarillo; and his granddaughter, Shaye of Amarillo. He is also survived by his siblings, Joel Hill; Charles Hill and his wife, Karen, of San Antonio, Texas; and Karol Hill of Amarillo.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Hill; his father, Homer Hill; and his son, Charles Anthony Hill.

Bob leaves behind a lifetime of memories with the family and friends who loved him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
