Robert Joseph Readhead

Born July 22, 1960, in Yuma AZ, to William A. and Joann (Lenzini) Readhead Jr. He was the third of four children and had lived most of his life in Yuma. He passed away suddenly and into the hands of the Lord on August 28, 2026, at his home in Yuma.

After graduating high school with his masters in education from ASU, he taught Special Education at Kofa High School for 37+ years.

He was a history buff, and avid reader. His special interest was in early American history and Egyptian art and artifacts. He loved traveling and visiting family. He also cared for his pets.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his lifelong friend, Judy Padilla. He is survived by his loving family, brother Bill (Laurie) Readhead III, sisters Mary Jo (Ron) Kamuda, Donna (Jose) Bustamante. Nieces Caitlan Readhead, Jenevieve Bustamante, and nephews William A. Readhead IV, and Garrett Bustamante. Great niece and nephews Renata, William V, and Joseph Readhead. He is greatly missed by all who crossed his path. He is deeply loved and will stay in our hearts forever, until we meet again.

Private services per Bob's wishes will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to St Jude Children's Hospital in Bob's memory.
