Robert Lewis Guba Sr.

Robert Lewis Guba, Sr., 81, of Flagler Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on August 17, 1944, in Port Clinton, Ohio, Bob was the son of Peter and Alma Guba. He built a successful career in sales, where his natural gift for connecting with people, earning their trust, and offering a helping hand made him both respected and admired. He never met a stranger and had a remarkable ability to turn acquaintances into lifelong friends.

Bob found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved tending to his garden, playing cards with friends, taking long scenic drives and enjoying his favorite frozen Coke from Circle K. Whether sharing a joke, telling a story, or offering words of encouragement, he had a way of making everyone around him feel welcome. His kindness, quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and generous spirit will be remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Elaine Guba; his sister, Sandra Guba; his children, Kelly (Bill) Antel, Robert Guba Jr., Michelle (David) Morin, and Sarah (Lee) Gabriel; and his stepchildren, Leslie Evans and Michelle Flint. He also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren: Stefan (Cassie) Mullins, Madison Morin, Robby Guba, Riley Guba, Griffin Gabriel, Leah Gabriel, and Summer Gabriel; and four treasured great-grandchildren: Ella Antel, Shawn Mullins, Evan Mullins, and Ada Mullins. He is further survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Alma Guba; his sister, Suzanne Bowser; and his beloved lifelong 4-legged companion, Dosey Doe.

Bob's legacy of love, laughter, kindness, and sense of humor will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
