Robert (Bob) Lorimer Leonard, of Sacramento California, passed away on September 19, 2026 at the age of 83. He was a retired land surveyor and beloved father, brother and uncle.
Bob was born the second of five children on February 8, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio to Robert and Marjorie Leonard. Bob spent his early years travelling as part of a Navy family before settling down and starting a family in Northern California.
Bob will be remembered for his humor, kindness and trusting nature. He loved playing tennis, jogging and sitting on the patio with a glass of wine.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Carrie; his son, Bob (and his wife Alex); their mother, Linda; his sister, Susan and his brother, Sam. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Pat and Jim.
A celebration of life will be held at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home on October 10th at 10:30 AM. All are welcome to attend and celebrate. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to The Sacramento Food Bank.
