Roberta Clark Prine

Roberta (Garrison) Clark Prine passed away on June 6 2026 after a brief illness. She was born to Glenn and Dorothy (Williams) Garrison on December 20, 1945 in St. Petersburg, FL. She was the eldest of 5 children. After graduating from Dunedin High School in 1963, she worked at a stenographer McDonnell Douglas at Cape Canaveral. A few years later she moved to Orange County, California, where she Married Richard Charles Clark and had two children: Roger and Russell.

She followed her husband and his career around the country living in Beaumont, Texas, Schaumburg, Illinois, and back to California, living in San Ramon in Northern California back to Villa Park, California in Orange County. She was an active Boy Scout Leader with her 2 sons and husband, and continued to volunteer with them for many years afterwards winning various awards including the Silver Beaver for her contributions to the local council.

After her divorce she moved back to Florida and settled in Tallahassee Florida, which would be her new home for almost 30 years. She worked for Steak and Shake in the HR department for several years before retiring. She met and married Francis Prine and was happily married for 9 years until his untimely passing in 2012.

She was active in Tallahassee Heights Methodist church with various social groups and volunteering with their Farm Share ministry.

In her later years she split her time between Tallahassee and Franklin, North Carolina, where she greatly enjoyed the area’s mountains, waterfalls, wildflowers, and hiking trails. Bobbie loved quilting and always had a few in development, showcasing her latest works which many received as beautiful quilts. She also traveled throughout Europe and celebrated her 70th birthday by skydiving.

She is survived by her sons Roger Clark of Davenport Florida and Russell Clark of Tallahassee, FL, Daughters-in-law Claudia (Pedro) Clark of Davenport, FL, Amy (Hollis) Clark of Tallahassee, FL, her siblings Mary Garrison of Tarpon Springs, FL, Glenna (Garrison) Pieratt of Dunedin, FL, and William Garrison of Cancun, Mexico, her cats Banksy and Kismet, and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee, FL 32308, on June 20, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Reception to follow at Tallahassee Heights Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
