Robin Kary Salwasser

Robin passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 74.He was born on November 9, 1951, and grew up in Reedley, California, where he spent much of his younger years working at his family’s business, Salwasser Manufacturing. As a young man, he spent a season logging in the Sierra Nevadas before going on to farm for many years, growing oranges and tree fruit.Adventurous from the time he was a young boy, he carried that spirit with him throughout his life. He loved gardening, woodworking, camping, working on vehicles, and spending time with animals. His dogs were especially important to him and were rarely far from his side.He is survived by his daughter, Cari, and her husband, Bryon Calderon; his sister, Melanie, and her husband, Daniel Hagen; and his brother, Rand Salwasser.In lieu of flowers, please donate to Robin’s favorite charity, The RIDE Foundation (http://TheRideFoundation.org), or a charity of your choice.No services are planned at this time.
