Roddy John Boudreaux

Roddy John Boudreaux passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the age of 80. He was born on February 26, 1946, in Napoleonville, LA, as was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. If there was one thing he loved, it was bringing people together. Whether he was standing over a cast-iron jambalaya pot, firing up a pot of gumbo, or cooking for a crowd, he believed the best memories were made around good food and good company. His home was always open, and he never needed a special occasion to gather family and friends. A devoted member of his MBS church community, he found joy in serving others and sharing his faith. He cherished the lifelong friendships he made as a boy, faithfully meeting his buddies for breakfast and never letting the years come between them. He truly never met a stranger—everyone was greeted with a smile, a story, and treated like family. His generous heart, Cajun hospitality, and love for people will be remembered by all who were blessed to know him.
