Roger was born in Shenandoah, IA and raised in Essex, IA. After high school, Roger served his country in the National Guard and was honorably discharged. He had a passion for restoring and showing classic Studebakers. Roger worked for Continental Can/Crown Cork and Seal before retiring after 33 years. He was a jack-of-all-trades, and would use those talents to do anything for anybody that needed help.
Preceded in death by parents, Clarence Leland and Virginia Pearl Davis; daughter, Joyce Kocarnik; and brothers, Robert, Frank, and Keith Davis. Survived by wife of 63 years, Patricia A. Davis; son, Troy (Deborah) Davis; son-in-law, Chuck Kocarnik; grandsons, Roger, Joey, and Josh Kocarnik; granddaughters, Loren and Morgan Davis; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh and Xander Kocarnik; and numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, NE 68106, on May 29, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at The Salvation Army Kroc Center, 2825 Y St, Omaha, NE 68107, on May 30, 2026, at 11:00 am, with Interment to follow in Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park.
