On August 12, 2026, Roger Gilbert passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 75. He was the beloved husband of Nathalie Ouellet and resided in Normandin. Roger was the son of the late Réal Gilbert and Jeanne-d ’Arc Gauthier. A funeral service will be held at the Complexe funéraire Hébert et fils in Normandin on August 22, 2026, with visitation from 9 AM to 12 PM and 1:30 PM to 3 PM, followed by a chapel service at 3 PM.
He is survived by his wife, children of heart Stephanie (Marc-Gabriel Orellana) and Christopher (Suzie Lapointe), grandchildren Mia Orellana Ouellet, Ellyssia Orellana Ouellet, Kaïla Lefebvre, Olivier Giguère, and Arielle Ouellet. He also leaves behind his siblings and in-laws, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
