Rohan Lachman

Rohan Lachman passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 72. He is survived by his sisters, Ahilia Lachman, Seerojni “Tara” Ally (Muntaz Ally) and Indra Latchman; his children, Kieran Lachman and Keri Lachman (David Beach); his former spouse Jacqueline Chung Lachman; and his nieces and nephews Raymond, Rachel, Sandra, Jaden and Gavin. Rohan was born and raised in Rose Hall, Guyana by hardworking parents of Indian descent. He completed his undergraduate and master's studies in New York City and Miami, and resided in New York City on and off for over 50 years. His career spanned engineering, gold mining in the Amazon, and real estate development. Throughout his life, Rohan enjoyed reading about history, politics, philosophy, and spirituality; yoga and spinning; watching cooking shows and late-night Netflix binges; making puns whether or not the moment called for it; and indulging in dulce de leche ice cream.
