Rosa Park

Rosa Zambonini/Park was born on Wednesday, February 26, 1930, to an Italian Fish Frier and Restaurateur, Umberto Zambonini, and his beautiful wife, Rose McGuire in Bellshill, Scotland.Rosa (known to her family as Nana, My Rose, Mama Rose, and Mum Park). Rose loved and lived a full life until she was taken from us June 10, 2026.She was raised in Scotland and spent some years in Ireland working as a manager in her parents’ restaurants.In 1950 she met Robert Park (Bob) a soldier who was stationed in Kent, England. They were introduced by a friend of Bob’s and married February 22, 1952, and had their daughter Roselynn in May 1953.Bob and Rose moved to the United States where they had a wonderful, beautiful life.
