Russell O'Brien

Russell O'Brien, age 66, of Lockbourne, Ohio passed away on June 1, 2026. He was born on Feb. 14, 1960 in Sandusky, Ohio to the Harold and Irma (George) O'Brien. Russell leaves behind his life partner of 36 years Barbara Oliver; children Anna (Gustavo) Oliver, Bess (Chad) Quillin, Amanda Oliver, Kimberly Oliver, Katie Oliver, Joshua Oliver, Brittany Oliver, Rusty Oliver and Chelsey Oliver; siblings Ronda Deering, Deborah O'Brien, Donald O'Brien and Susan Martin; Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Russell loved music and played in several bands over the years. He even had the opportunity to play with several bands including Judas Priest and was part of the crew for Guns N' Roses. Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 9, 2026 from 5PM to 7PM at Advantage by Schoedinger - Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204.
