Russell Neal Johnson passed away August 25th, 2026, at the age of 56. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on September 18th, 1969, to Tommy Lee and Arla Jean Johnson.
Rusty was known to most as “Rusty” and worked in the Utilities industry as an expert Directional Boreman. Rusty will be remembered for his fighting spirit and ability to bring humor to any situation. People who knew him best know that he really, REALLY liked having a good time.
He married Denise Marie Miller in 1999 and they were married for 20 years prior to her passing in 2020. They raised three sons together with the love and support of many friends and family.
Rusty is survived by his mother Arla Johnson-Pickham, mother-in-law Dolores (Dodi) Miller, brothers Randy (Diana) Johnson, Dan (Angela) Johnson, children Zachary Fryar, Jacob Billingsley, Daniel Billingsley, Elias Johnson, and three grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
