Samantha Liberatore, 76, passed away peacefully at home in Las Vegas on May 8th, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Detroit, she later made Las Vegas her home, where she worked for many years as a teacher with the Clark County School District.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Richard Liberatore; her children, Richie Liberatore and his wife, Marion; Sara Lopez and her husband, Chris; Teri Lynn Stout; Jill Baxter and her husband, Matthew; and Johnny Liberatore and his wife, Audra; and the true joy of her life, her 13 grandchildren, Corben, Nico, Clara, Samson, Henry, Benicio, Sawyer, Juna, Vincenzo, Ruth, Caterina, Lainey, and Rosie.
She is also survived by her siblings, Larry, Jerry, Teri, Shelly, and Nancy, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews, including Dustin and Angie, Nathan and Kristin, Carey and Jodi, Ethan and Catherine, Earl, and Jimmy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruth Slater.
Her funeral Mass will be held on:
Saturday, May 30 at 10:00 a.m.
