Sandra Hamrick Piland, 82, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026 after a lengthy illness.She was born in Dodge City, Kansas on May 17, 1944. Sandra graduated from Hampton High School. She was married to Hatcher William Piland on October 19, 1963.Sandra worked in office management for the Department of Army, Air Force and NASA. She spent many years working for Dr. William Kaufman. She had a passion for bowling, cooking and FSU football.She was preceded in death by her father, Elliot Hamrick; mother, June Hamrick; and sister, Terry Ruple.Sandra is survived by her husband, Hatcher William Piland; daughter, Sherry Setliff (Gene); son, David Piland (Jennifer); grandchildren, Justin Setliff (Madison), Morgan Mitchell (Memphis), and Daniel Setliff; and great grandchildren, Chase Setliff and Grayson Mitchell.
