Sandra Kay Lockman

11 août 2026 Cleveland, Quebec Dignity Memorial

Sandra Kay Lockman, born October 6, 1946, passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 79. She leaves behind a life marked by meaningful work, memorable experiences, and the many people whose lives she touched along the way.

For 25 years, Sandy dedicated herself to caring for others as a nurse. Nursing was an important and meaningful part of her life, and through her profession, she made a lasting difference in the lives of many. Following her nursing career, she continued her work in the service industry, helping manage hotels and lodges. She particularly enjoyed being involved in weddings and helping create special memories for others. Sandy also greatly valued her time working and volunteering with The Elizabeth Guild. Here she had the opportunity to give back and support the Estes Park community, while getting to interact with some of her favorite people.

Sandy was a proud mother to Bobby and Mike Lockman, and a loving grandmother to five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The relationships she shared with her family and friends brought her countless cherished memories and joy throughout her life.

Sandy was preceded in death by her mother (Edith Mathis) and her father (Robert Mathis).

She is survived by her two sons (Bobby Lockman and Mike Lockman), her daughter-in-laws (Kelly Lockman and Jenna Lockman), five grandchildren (Amber, Nathan, Tanner, Reanna, and Rayce), two great-grandchildren (Harper and Braxton), her sister (Anita Callahan), her niece (Lani Brlecic) and her two great-nephews (Lane and Caleb). The immediate family will gather for a private celebration of Sandy’s life. They will come together to honor her memory, share stories, and reflect on the cherished moments she brought into their lives. Though she will be deeply missed, Sandy’s memory will live on through her family and friends who loved her and through the many lives she touched on her journey. In lieu of flowers and cards, the family kindly invites those wishing to honor Sandy’s memory to carry on her tradition of generosity by donating gently used items to one of her favorite Estes Park organizations, The Elizabeth Guild.
