Sandra Lee Walker

Sandra L. Walker, age 66, of Evans, Georgia passed away on Friday, June 12th, 2026. She was born on April 28th, 1960, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents Mary Kate, James C. Dean, and her husband of 45 years Michael R. Walker.

Sandra is survived by her children, Brandi Walker and Robert Walker; her grandson, Dylan Walker; and her siblings Mary Ann Arruebarrena, Cathy Dean, and JC Dean.

Sandra was a loving wife to Michael for 45 years, and a selfless and compassionate mother and grandmother. She was the heart of the family and was the favorite sister to her siblings. Sandra was passionate about gardening. As a homemaker, she took pride in her home. Sandra filled her home and family with love and compassion throughout her entire life. She loved traveling, the beach, admiring the many types of birds that visited her yard, and a good salad. Sandra was a one-of-a-kind cook and brought Cajun style cooking and flavor wherever she went. She was an avid Saints and LSU Tigers fan, and casted the ‘gris- gris’ to every team they faced.

Her kindness, love for her friends and family, and contagious laugh will be thoroughly missed.
