Sandra M. King, 75, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026. A Rosary followed by visitation was held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Fisher Chapel at Striffler Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907 with a Funeral Mass being held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2000 Kay Circ, Columbus, Georgia 31907. Burial followed at Parkhill Cemetery.

Sandra was born on December 9, 1950, in Panama to Lillian and Alfred Sterling. A soldier in the Army of God, she enjoyed communicating the word of God anywhere and would love reading scriptures and sending out prayers. She married the love of her life, Vanderbill, and together they built a life. Her hobbies included gardening, arts and crafts, listening to music, competitive swimming and making diaper cakes. What she enjoyed most was being a mother and grandmother. She loved her children, grandchildren and extended family more than anything and will be remembered for her kindness to everyone.
