Sandra R. Marks

Sandra R. Marks, of North Babylon, New York, passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 86. Beloved by all who knew her, Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, and friend, who lived with joy, positivity and empathy. She was married to the love of her life, William Marks for 68 years. Together they enjoyed many adventures, traveling to destinations both near and far. Having lived in North Babylon since 1973, Sandra and William established strong ties and cherished friendships within the community. Sandra was well known for her cooking and baking, both of which she loved. She was also very talented with her hands: she could sew, crochet, needlepoint, and reupholster furniture, and she loved decorating her home. Completing puzzles was one of the ways she relaxed. Sandra was a devoted mother to her daughter Cheroxie and her sons, William Jr. and James. She was a loving grandmother to William IV, James II, Qiana, Sandra Jewelle, Jalen, Ma ‘Kaila, and Mikai. Sandra would want you to know that she loved and enjoyed everyone she met along the way. She truly enjoyed sharing her life with all of you.
