Sarah Louise Templin, 79, passed away on July 16, 2026. Born April 8, 1947, Sarah was a resident of Rockwell, North Carolina.Sarah retired from Alltel after 28 years of dedicated service, a steady and meaningful career marked by care, reliability, and the kind of thoughtful presence that leaves a lasting impression on those who worked alongside her. In both her professional life and her personal life, she was cherished and beloved—someone whose generosity was felt in quiet, everyday ways, and whose humor could brighten even ordinary moments.Sarah was married to Cleon Templin, and she loved to spend time with family at the beach. Those days reflected the warmth of her heart and the gentle adventurousness that shaped how she embraced life—finding joy in togetherness, in simple traditions, and in time shared with the people she held closest.Sarah was preceded in death by her husband Cleon Templin, her parents Harry Watson and Sarah Penninger Wright. Sarah is survived by her son Michael Tolbert of Charlotte, grandsons Michael Tolbert, Jr. of Charlotte, Timothy Tolbert of Missouri and Steven Lageman of New York and great-grandson Jayden Tolbert and great-granddaughter Telilah Tolbert.
