Heaven just got a whole lot livelier.Sean A. Shaw, lovingly known as “Aardvark” or “Arddy,” passed away on May 25, 2026, at the age of 46, surrounded by family and friends. Born on August 29, 1979, in Southern California, Sean lived a life defined by his wicked sense of humor, unwavering love for family and friends, and incredible work ethic. He was a devoted husband, proud father, beloved son, brother, uncle, friend, and mentor whose presence brought laughter, adventure, and plenty of shenanigans to everyone lucky enough to know him. Sean had a passion for sports, the outdoors, and celebrating life. He will be remembered for his generous heart, legendary party-planning skills, and the immaculate cut of his lawn. To some, his larger-than-life personality and iconic ZZ Top beard could seem intimidating, but beneath it all was a gentle soul and a giant teddy bear.
Sean is survived by his loving wife, Kim; his daughters, Skyla and Sabrina; his "son," Max; his mother, Candy; his sister, Kelly; and countless extended family members and friends who loved him deeply. Though our hearts are broken by his loss, we carry forward the love, laughter, memories, and lessons he gave us. Sean’s life touched more people than he likely ever knew, and he will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.A Celebration of Life will be held on June 20, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas.
