Shelley Marie Anderson

Shelley M. Anderson passed away far too soon at 66. She was preceded in death by her husband, Al, the love of her life. We find comfort in knowing they are together again.

Shelley loved to travel. Her most recent trip was to Italy, a place she had dreamed of visiting her whole life. We are so glad she got to take that trip. She also loved music and going to concerts, especially with friends.

And she loved to shop. Anyone who knew Shelley knows that might be an understatement.

Shelley was an amazing cook and baker. She made everything from scratch, and we would choose her cooking over a restaurant any day. We will miss her food and the time spent together enjoying it.

She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and best friend. Her friends were family to her, and they were such an important part of her life.

Her two dogs, Charlie and Ganja, were her boys, and she loved them dearly. Once, afraid one of them might drown, she jumped right into the pool fully clothed to save him. It’s a memory that still makes us smile and says so much about how much she loved them.

We will miss Shelley in the everyday moments: sharing a meal, hearing a song she loved, or seeing something she would have bought. It is hard to imagine life without her. We love her, and we wish we had more time.
