Shirley Nadean Muench, age 83, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026. She is survived by her loving children: Theodore Muench, Debi Hepworth, and Sherrie Siegert; cherished grandchildren: Heather, Amber, and Jackie Hepworth, Jessica (Dominic) Renzetti, Alliana Siegert, and Jada Siegert; and adored great-grandchildren: Leon and Everette. Shirley is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Evelyn Peterson; her husband, Gary Muench; and her son, Timothy Muench.
Shirley was a devoted grandmother who never missed a grandchild’s sports game or special event. She found great joy in birdwatching and gardening, and she cherished spending time with family. An avid camper and traveler, she loved exploring new places with family and lifelong friends. She was also a passionate NASCAR fan.
Shirley will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Skyline Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 24800 S. Governors Hwy, Monee, IL. For more information, please call 708-534-8256.
