Steven Dompe passed on September 16, 2026, at the age of 51.
He was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on November 12, 1974.
Steve graduated from Duncan U. Fletcher High School commonly called "Fletcher".
He was married to Katie Jones Dompe on March 10, 2006. Steve worked in plumbing and later owned a company named Dompe's Plumbing.
He had a passion for surfing, fishing, sunrises and fossil hunting.
Survived by his wife of 20 years, Katie Dompe. Son, Jake Dompe and stepdaughter, Hailey Aguinaldo. One Grandson, Chidori Liptrot. Parents Lee and Joyce Dompe of California. Sister, Michelle (Dave) Mihaly and Niece, Ava (Zach) Schipper.
A visitation with family and friends will be held at Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens, 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250, on October 2, 2026, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens, 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250, on October 2, 2026, beginning at 6:30 pm.
Steve loved his family and all his friends with all his heart, so when you see a sunrise, Please think of Steve.
