Suzanne-Marie Landry, 69 years old, passed away at CHUS in Sherbrooke on July 31. She leaves behind her partner of 43 years, Denis Veilleux, her son Simon, his partner Alexandra Lapointe, and grandson Rupert. She is also survived by her sister Johanne Cérat Borgia, her late sister Marielle Landry, her sister-in-law Brigitte, and brothers Bruno, Roch, and the late Richard Veilleux. Many friends and relatives mourn her loss.
She was a lover of music and artists, recognized as the leading blues specialist in Quebec. The family expresses gratitude to the staff at Brome-Missisquoi Perkins Hospital and CHUS. Donations to the Fondation de l’hôpital Memphrémagog are appreciated. Visiting hours are scheduled at Coopérative funéraire de l’Estrie in Rock-Forest on July 21 from 6 to 9 PM and July 22 from 10 AM to noon.
