It is with sadness that we inform you of the death of Sylvain Lafontaine on July 3, 2026, at the age of 50. He was the husband of Valérie Gardner and the son of Micheline Malette and the late Roger 'Pit' Lafontaine.
In addition to his mother and partner, he leaves behind his children Mathieu and Frédérik, his brothers Éric (Mélanie) and Marco (Lucie), as well as several nieces, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS - Pavillon Lac Beauchamp located at 750, boul. Maloney Est in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences from 9 a.m.
