Tandra Yvonne Moore

12 septembre 2026 Dignity Memorial

Tandra Yvonne Moore was born on November 25, 1968, in Wichita, Kansas. She was raised in Kansas City, Kansas, where she attended Wyandotte High School and proudly graduated with the Class of 1987 as a Wyandotte Bulldog.

Tandra accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Throughout her life, she remained a good and faithful servant, generously giving her time, talents, and support to every ministry of which she was a part. Whenever she was called upon to serve or lend a helping hand, Tandra answered with a willing heart, expecting nothing in return.

Her Legacy

For nearly a decade, Tandra was employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Her warm heart, loving spirit, and genuine compassion allowed her to make a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans and the families of those who served our country. Tandra was also employed by The University of Kansas Medical Center. A hardworking and devoted mother and grandmother, she often joked that the extra work helped support her, Skittles, and the grandbabies’ shopping habits.

Tandra’s greatest joy was her family. She was a loving mother, a proud grandmother, a devoted daughter and sister, and a treasured aunt and friend. Her presence brought warmth, laughter, comfort, and love to everyone blessed to know her. Tandra loved deeply, gave freely, worked tirelessly, and remained devoted to the people she held closest to her heart. On September 12, 2026, Tandra peacefully departed this earthly life while surrounded by her loving family and close friends.

Tandra was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Yvonne Moore and Barbara Carol Walker, and her sister, Toni Medlock.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her father, Henry Adolphus Archibald Jr.; her God-given parents, Percy and Anita Smith; her beloved children, Shardae Shree Frenchye Miesha Lorn Moore (Jarvis Harris), Samuel Moore, LaTrae Estis and Skittles Moore; her precious grand girls, Anecia Moore, Alycia Harris, Sa’Myah Moore, Ebony Williams, Essence Williams; and her siblings, Yolanda Marie Archibald-Beckford (Brinett H. Beckford), Sheletha Walker, Nichelle Barton (Jonathan Barton), Anitri Moore, Evanny Williams (Dean Williams), Johnny Murray, and Ellyington Cunningham (Nickita Cunningham).

Tandra also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, coworkers, church family, and dear friends Debra Davis, Valerie Paden and Dawn Clark, whose lives were forever touched by her love.

Although Tandra’s earthly journey has ended, her beautiful spirit will continue to live through the many lives she touched. Her family will forever remember her loving heart, compassionate nature, strong work ethic, unwavering faith, and devotion to those she loved. Her legacy of faith, service, laughter, and family will remain in their hearts for generations to come.

“Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

Matthew 25:21
